APC WAIVER POLICY
The Journal of Applied Research in Plant Sciences (JOARPS) believes that Article Processing Charges (APCs) should not be a barrier to publishing high-quality research. Therefore, the journal offers APC waivers under the following conditions:
- Eligibility for Waivers: Corresponding authors (of papers with no more than six authors) may request a full or partial waiver at the time of manuscript submission.
- Justification Required: Requests must include a clear explanation of the financial constraints or reasons for the waiver.
- Editorial Decision: The decision to grant a waiver is at the discretion of the Editorial Board, based on the availability of funds and the merit of the request.
APC Waiver Policy for Reviewers
The Journal of Applied Research in Plant Sciences (JOARPS) recognizes the vital contributions of peer reviewers and provides the following incentives:
- APC Discount for Reviewers: Reviewers who complete thorough, high-quality, and timely peer reviews will receive a 10% discount on the Article Processing Charge (APC) for each completed review.
- Full Waiver for Frequent Reviewers: If a reviewer completes six quality reviews, the Editorial Board will grant a 100% APC waiver for one of their accepted papers.
These incentives acknowledge the dedicated efforts of reviewers while ensuring a rigorous and high-quality peer review process.
